啟示錄是我很喜歡的一卷書，裡面有很多關於描述耶穌榮美的經文，有很多眾聖徒與天使讚美的聲音。當我讀到啟示錄5章12節，“曾被殺的羔羊是配得權柄、豐富、智慧、能力、尊貴、榮耀、頌讚的”，我好喜歡，好希望把這些詞全部都用起來，不要更改，於是動筆寫了這首歌的副歌。
