有一天讀聖經的時候，讀到了哥林多前書7:31：”因為這世界的樣子將要過去了”非常抓住我心。我就開始反覆的思想它，唱它（禱唱經文）。每次唱這首歌就會被提醒：這世界將要過去，但是唯有神的國度和神的愛是永遠長存的。Verse and Bridge 着眼在這世界的短暫，副歌則着重在神的永恆。這首歌的目的，是要帶來盼望和永恆的眼光。
